Finnish Games Week returns to Steam from 12–18 October 2026, bringing together more than 350 Finnish games in a week-long celebration of the country’s game development talent, creativity, and innovation.
The official Finnish Games Week Steam Event invites players around the world to discover games developed in Finland, from established favorites and independent gems to upcoming releases. With curated game categories, promotional offers, livestreams, and developer content, the event aims to connect Finnish game creators with new audiences and give the international community more ways to explore the diversity of Finnish games.
Following the first edition in 2025, which featured 225 games, this year’s event expands the showcase and strengthens its ambition to make Finnish game development more visible to players around the world.

In my opinion, its true strength lies not only in the games we create, but in the community behind them and the trust, collaboration, and willingness of developers to support one another. Finnish Games Week brings the international industry to Helsinki
The Steam event is part of the wider Finnish Games Week initiative, bringing together the game development community through industry events, knowledge sharing, and international networking. The online showcase takes place ahead of the in-person Finnish Games Week program in Helsinki from 19–23 October 2026, featuring Leadership Day by IGDA Finland, Pocket Gamer Connects Nordics and W Love Games conferences.
Finnish Games Week is organized by W Love Games in collaboration with IGDA Finland, Steel Media, and the Finnish Game Developers’ Association, bringing together partners committed to strengthening the Finnish game industry’s visibility, connections, and business opportunities.
